		<description>Ms. Pam,

The current standard is ISO 9001: 2008. The 1994 version has been obsolete for a while now. The 1994 version has been DRASTICALLY revised in 2000 and then 2000 version has been revised again in 2008. Companies are now registered to the 2008 version. So, having said that, the staff will need the following:

1.	ISO 9001:2008 Overview
2.	ISO 9001: 2008 Internal Auditor Training

I am assuming that the Co. is not registered to ISO 9001: 2008, correct? Has the Co. ever been ISO 9001 certified, even with the 1994 version in the past? The reason why I ask is I would like to know if the staff truly know the auditing guidelines stated in ISO 19011 (2002 version)? If not, then the training may require more than 8 hours.

If you can provide me more information to the questions, I can understand better of where the Co. is as related to ISO 9001. Thank you for your patience.

Regards,
TZ Waters</description>

		<description>Hello,
We are currently on the old 1994 version of ISO and just need a refresher course on taking internal audits. Our staff is limited so we do not form audit teams. Whomever gets the audit has to do everything associated with it from beginning to end. When an audit is issued, I distribute materials needed for the audit which consists of:
*Policy
*Procedure
*Work instructions
*I also give them instructions on how to do the audit from QP417.
*I give them an example of a NCR and how to fill one out.
They perform the audit, issue NCR’s and make sure they get completed. They then do a summary report and a finding summary and forward to me. I close the audit.
We have some new people on board and need to do refreshers for everyone. I really thought we could do one class in the morning and one in the afternoon to get everyone here.
We wouldn’t be able to let everyone go at once.
Right now, our plant is not producing production on Thursdays and Fridays so this would be an ideal time.
Just let me know what you think.
Thanks

		<description>Paul,
I apologize for the late response. As a matter of fact, I have been teaching ISO 9001:2008 Internal Auditor course this morning with Jimmy Belk (one of our Mississippi Consortium instructors) till lunch. Just now checking emails and phone messages.

Ms. Pam – Can you please clarify --is it ISO 9001:2008 Standards Overview or ISO 9001:2008 Internal Auditor Training that you are requesting? Are you looking at a 1 day (8 hr) training?

Please let me look at my schedule further. I will let you know. However, I have also talked to Mr. Jimmy Belk and he is well-qualified to deliver the above-mentioned training as well and he is able to travel there for the training.

If you would, Ms. Pam, please confirm what type of ISO training that you are looking at, that would be great. Thank you.
